Ok, first post ever here, looked like a good place to get help.
I have an old T-Bred xp 2400 which I wanted to use, actually I had the whole computer in storage, I got it out today and it doesn't post.
The hard drives and cd drives and fans spin up, and after many tries I got it to post once, but it turned itself off 10 seconds later.
This is what always happens:
I press power button
Fand and drives spin up
Nothing is shown on screen(EXCEPT ONE TIME IT POSTED)
Then everything turns off 10 seconds later.
I have to turn off the power supply and wait like five seconds to turn power supply back on to try again or else it doesn't turn back on.
I have tried another power supply, different ram, differen t drives, just I am thinking it is either the processor or the mobo.
Any ideas people?
Help is much appreciated.

Specs:
Athlon xp 2400
Mobo: Jetway V4MDMP
RAM: Corsair 512 mb, also tried other crucial 512 mb
Drives: Seagate 80 gb, Samsung 60 gb
psu: some obscure brand, but it works because i tried with other computer
integrated video, but i also plugged in an agp card to see if it was that, but still nothing.
that's about it

It sounds like the motherboard. Could it have become damp while in storage?
Make sure the heatsink is attached properly too.
