/rolleyes.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='rolleyes.gif' /> AMD k6/2I on a pc chips m/board and now I am on the internet (broadband) I run out of memory. I have 3X64megs if pc100. Is it possible to change this to 3X128 megs of pc133 instead. I just want to upgrade until I get my faster PC /smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /> . Any suggestions will be appreciated. Brian

HA! i had this board, and a word of warning, dont do any extreme over voltages at high clocks (like 3.3v @ 600Mhz like me) cause you will kill it in short order.
good news is that 3x 128Mb sticks of ram will work for 384Mb, dont get no name ram, and you could get pc133 and it would work just as good if not better, just at lower speeds/better timings. better news is that the K6-III+, the rare gem that is the BEST socket7 CPU in EXISTENCE will work in this board quite smoothly and beat the living cobwebs out of that K6-2, more deatails here:

mine hit 600Mhz easy, its not a risk with a K6-III+ at that speed, its the K6-2 that will kill your board at extremes /wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' />.
