Hello, is there any way of removing a short at power pins between vcc and vss of an athlon xp palomino its silicon die is perfect with no chipped corners no burn marks.If there isn't any then it could be possible to bypass the shorted part of the cpu so i can make the cpu to boot?thanks

Just because the core looks like it's in perfect condition doesn't mean it is, to be honest, it's a palomino and it doesn't work and you'd be better to bin it and look for a cheap t/bred b replacement on ebay
