Need to find copy ac97amd1.0 for my Athlon/GA7-ixa home built system.
Need older copy to run with Win Me
Downloaded the 1.8.7 version from AMD but the installer in the program requires XP or 2000 even though it says it is a Windows Me Driver.

Been trying to find AC97 older and found a page on AMD but no download tab.

Is this your motherboard? Gigabyte GA-7IXE

It does not appear to have an integrated AC97 audio, so no driver provided from them.

Try to find out what sound card you have and load the driver from the manufacturer's website.

The chipset driver from the Gigabyte website above.

Had this trouble with I first installed the system several years ago.

Need the amd file associated with the following page:

The file has been updated many times, but with my old system and the old OS (Win Me)... I need the old file. The new one... well see above.
