i just built a new phenom comp an when i used pc pitstop to check the memory performance im only scoring half of what i did on my old set up i assumed the cpu alone would give me a boost
old set up
5000+ 2.6 gig
4x1 gig ddr 2 pc800
2x250 gig hard drives in raid 0
9800 gt
msi kn9 neo v3
the rest i dont think matters
new set up
amd phenom ii 945
4x2 gskill pc 800
2x640 gig in raid 0
9800 gtx+
main board
m4a785-m
ive tried ganged an unganged hasnt made any difference is there a setting in the bios or something my old board did run dual channel but this one does 2 im kinda lost
