Sorry if im posting in the wrong place its my first post and im not familar with the forum. I will be greatful for any help

ok heres my problem i have a Emachines E625 Laptop, Ive done a fresh install of Windows XP and in device manager i have a yellow icon on SM Bus Controller, from serching google from what i understand its the chipset so i downloaded Catalyst control center and when installed my display went to lowest colour quality and could'nt change it back.

So a few things i would like to ask.

do i need the driver ?

could any1 find me a link to download the right driver or point me in the right direction.

First of all, you should be able to adjust the color quality under display properties in the Control Panel.
Or just right click on your desktop and go to I believe it's Properties (haven't used XP in a while).
It is advisable to install the SM Bus Controller driver.
The AMD All-In-One driver will auto detect your system components and install the appropiate drivers.

You can actually get the AMD All-In-One driver from any motherboard website:
