I am about to buid another newer system and wanted to move up to 8 gigs of ram.

Some people are telling me that when I put in all 4 sticks I am going to have problems?
Any truth to this and if so is there away to avoid it ?

Thanks in advance

Depends on motherboard model and ram speed. You may have to set the ram manually instead of the board detecting it but it should be ok unless it's fast ram like pc8500 which may not run at full speed on all boards.

im just about to use 8gb or ddr3 ram< its in the post lol

the 790x is a good chipset, its identical to the GX just without the IGP so the chances are it would be fine running 8gb of ram, infact i would hazard to say that you may even be fine running at 1600mhz+ if its one of the latest asus evo boards or gigabytes
