Intel i7s now have finally made their own version of (copied idea) of AMD Integrated memory controller, but with 3 channels to it, so guys at AMD please make your Integrated Memory Controller to support 2,3 & 4 channels.

Also why don't make the Hyper Transport bus wider? why is it 16-bits when memories in single channel is 64-bit wide? let alone 2 or more channels.

AMD doesnt really read these forums. Have no worries though AMD is already using 4 channel memory on their newest server chips and Bulldozer due to be out 1Q maybe 2Q 2011 will close the gap with intel.

Well, I know Phenom II X6 is coming and is based on the Opteron X6, but anyway, 3 channel memory controller is a good idea since some people may have enough money for 3 memory modules but not for four, if AMD doesn't do this, would mean that you'd have to think which DDRX-speed x4 is more cost effectively for you to take full advantage of memory performance and that place might not exist but would exist in a 3-channel way and Intel will get the revenue of it and AMD is not as profitable as Intel so AMD should read this forums to get good ideas to improve architectural features for better sales.
