Hi, I downloaded PC Wizard from cpuid website and it says that my processor supports Hyper-Threading Technology. I know that this technology is available for Intel's processors, but AMD?
I own an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor 3600+ and an ASUS M2N motherboard.
If this technology is available for my processor, where do I activate it? I can't find it anywhere. Currently using bios version 0301 for ASUS M2N. Do i need to upgrade it so I can activate it? If not, tell me to stop now.

Some images to backup my statement: link1 link2 link3 link4 link5

Ok, no......HT is an Itel technology....it is not available in AMD processors.....although BullDozer is slated to have a technology that will parallel what Intel has when it is released.

Hyper-threading (officially Hyper-Threading Technology, and abbreviated HT Technology, HTT or HT) is Intel's term for its simultaneous multithreading implementation in its Atom, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, Itanium, Pentium 4 and Xeon CPUs.
