Just recently Administrative Events in Win 7 (64) at start up has been showing the following error:

"The AODDriver4.1 service failed to start due to the following error:
The system cannot find the file specified."

I didn't find anything at these forums, but a google search turns up several people reporting this elsewhere, with some rolling back to 12.1 driver, but no answers from AMD. Consensus is some QA oversight mistake at AMD. Anyone have more information or another suggestion?

Update: Found a fix at http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/...-7000-aoddriver4-error (see last post). The final step, doing a 4.01 registry search after reboot, only turned up Legacy entries, which wouldn't delete and probably don't need to be, since the Admin Events error disappeared.

With AMD's graphics drivers it is usually a great idea to uninstall the graphic's components and using a cleaner program like Driver Sweeper (in safe mode) to clean out all of the old stuff prior to installing the new drivers. On the AMD side of the house it always resulted in much less problems if I went this route. If you do decide to use Driver Sweeper, I highly recommend that you download the latest release from here, rather than from 3DGuru's site which is severely outdated.

I am having this problem too.
12.2, 12.3, 12.4, 12.5, 12.6, 12.7 all have errors with aoddriver 4.1.
Even installing 12.6 on a fresh OS still has the same errors.
