hi guys and girls

ive recently built a new and its runs nice but when iam running certain games it shuts off suddenly its only heating up to around 50-60 degrees all drivers and bois are up to date its even got a nice pea size blob off ic diamond 3 on the cpu, iam also waiting for a scythe ninja 3 heatsink to arrive. iam wondering if the chip is faulty coz these temps aint normal please help guys

Try re-seating your cooler and a pea sized amount is too much for the icdiamond you need to heat the icdiamond in warm water like the directions say or it will never spread right(use about a small grain of rice worth)

many thx for your reply il give that ago with the thermal paste, if all fails ive ordered some metal pads from coollaboratorys for my cpu and gpu , was having the same problem with my gpu when i first received it but if think the heatsink wasnt sitting correct , i have noticed that the pressure between the heatsink and cpu inst that good,ie when i push the little black lever down it doent feel that tight and when ive seen other other replace there heatsink and the lever needs a tiny bit of effort, my board is am3+ just like the heatsink. ive got that new scythe hetsink coming so il also try that one
