Can anyone help me i cant get my dell laptop to recognise my second display. everytime i go into display settings it sees the other monitor but wont allow me to enable it. my driver is ati radeon hd3450 and my laptop is a dell studio 1535 my second monitor is a 37 inch LG lcd tv connected via htmi cable. i know it works cause it was working a week ago then i had to move the laptop unplugging the cable now its playing up.


seven trillion thank you's to the person who can help me, that and i solemnly pledge my 3rd son to be born left testicle as a gift for a successful solution!!!!!!


I was kidding about that last bit!!!

I hope I can help you here, but you might have more success posting this in the General Technology Chat area. More people hang out there.

What kind of port is your first monitor plugged into, and which version of ATi Catalyst are you using? Might help to update that. You can do this here:

http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_catalyst.aspx

depending on which version of Windows you are using.

Maybe there is not the right setting, it was my opinion ...... sorry if I wrong.
