Hi, This is for my friend that wants to know how to link up a Desktop Computer and a Laptop/Notebook computer wirelessly

What does he need to link up a Latop and a Desktop Computer with no Wires. He is using a Brodabnd ADSL USB modem (That does NOT have an ethernet port on it) and he wants to share his broadband connection on both the laptop and the desktop computer.

Please could you give info on what he will need .e.g. wireless router etc. and how he will do it.

Add a PCI wireless card to the desktop, wireless on the laptop (built in? USB? Cardslot?), and use Peer to Peer networking with Internet Connection Sharing turned on on the desktop. The downside is the desktop needs to be running to share the internet. Otherwise, get an ethernet enabled modem and a wireless router.
