Hi guy's,
I have created a small office network consisting of 4 computers running off a router, what I am wondering is, is their any way or any software available which will allow me to email within my network (i.e. send a message from computer 'A' to computer 'C' without computer 'B' or 'D' knowing etc.

just put a txt file in a shared folder and the contents of that can be constantly modified

or you could IM over your lan:

that'll probly be the easiest option; you don't have to screw around with notepad all the time then /wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' />

Not really possible to do email unless you have your own mail server and addresses and a domain name. What I would recommend is doing an IM or using Windows Messenger, which some companies do you.

Theres a util in Windows called "winchat". Start --> Run, then type "winchat" and press enter.

Here's a scrnshot:

To talk to a PC on ur network, click the "dial" button on the toolbar and a list of all PC's on ur network should be displayed. Of course, all the systems on your network should be on for this to work.

Never tried this before but one of my friends got it to work on his home network.

Good luck /wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' />
