well theres two things you can do here. You can a wireless access point, what this does is add a wireless signal to a wired router, you connect an ethernet cable to the wired router, that then goes to the ap.
Second thing which I suggest is to just buy a new wireless router, it will be cheaper most likely. Watch the ads this weekend, especially because monday is 4th of july. You can probably find a cheap router. I personally like Netgear, Motorola and Dlink Wireless G routers.
