I have a few systems of the Dell Gx280's. I create the image on one of the systems with XP OS, Office XP, Norton 03, and then I activate the Office and update windows and office. Ok, then I push it onto my Symantec Ghost Server 7.0.

When I pull that image off the server to the other Gx280, and open up one of the office programs, it comes up that the hardware has changed and propt me to reactivate office.

This is just started. I also have other systems (Gx260, D600, C640...Dells) that I use the same method and they don't promt me to activate Office.

What is causing this issue?

I could be to do with a microcode or bios revision that is slightly different.

I wouldnt do application push this way; instead we image the OS to our 400+ stations then use intellimirror through group policy to push the office XP msi to all stations.
