Hello:

I am a newbie in network and looking for help.
I got a Linksys wireless router WRT54G hooked up to a cable modem on a Win XP computer and wanted to network with another computer using window 98. I happened to buy a Linksys wireless adapter WUSB54G which is not compatible with Win98. So now I am finding a way to hook it up with a wired network card or a wireless adapter compatible with my Win98 and work with my router. Anyone has any suggestion? Thanks in advance.

you could get a wireless USB adapter for your win98. that might do the trick. wireles cards requier pci 2.x or something like that in order for them to work. in regards to installing a network, you need to install a NetBIOS protocol. that is if you want to do file sharing and printer sharing.
