i have an old router that got bricked when i updated the firmware is there anything to do to make it work again

yeah thats how someone destroyed my old dlink di-524. they cracked my 128-bit wep key and got in, figured out my router's password, and updated the firmware. had to rma the friggin thing to newegg.

duno if its possible that it will come back to life.

iv heard of ways to unbrick routers. it depends on the router and what 3rd party firmware is on it. what router do you have?
