There was some changes in the cooling handy cap, i dont know if it will affect anyone here, but just in case it does i wanted to let you all know. This was discussed by the Judges after a Question was brought up about cooling at TRP.
Here are the new handycap specs for cooling.


Air= 0
Water = 1
Chiller & Tec = 2
Phase & DICE = 3
Cascades & LN2 = 4

To determine what class you compete against, you add CPUs GPUs and cooling method, that's your handycap.

Before, I don't think there was a classification for chiller & tec, which I assume is a chilled water loop and I haven't heard of people using tec in a computer. Good for you guys with staying ahead of the curve.

last year there was no cooling handicap at all. you just use air or water or sub-zero and got the best results you could

Ill have to check what they mean by Chiller, but i highly doubt it is Chilled Water, Water is Water as far as i know, You can only take water so low.

I need some clarification please.

Chiller= What
TEC = What

We have on member that is using the Ultra ChillTech and it comes stock with a 50W Tech cooler sandwiched between the CPU and Air Cooled Heat Pipes. I have one and can speak from experience here when I say this thing dosen't cool as well as the H50, so as far as I am concerned any TEC/AIR Hybrid is still Air cooling. I wouldn't class any thing TEC Cooled until they are using 100W or better TEC and liquid cooling the TEC.

I would like the specs on the two coolers nailed down a bit more so they are not left up to our imagination.
