Hello everyone,

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but here goes. I have a display issue and I am not at all techy so bare with me! I ordered a Dell Precision M6500 Win 7 OS with a 1 GB GDDR5 ATI FirePro M7820. I also bought a screen, a Dell U2311H which is plugged in through a VGA port.

I work with Autodesk Maya 2009 and whenever I use it there's a display issue. white flashes in the viewports, weird glitches when editing 3D surfaces etc.

So I guess my question is, what can I do? Well...there's more questions.

Is it a graphics card issue?
How can I resolve it?
The problem seems more pronounced on the screen that I've it incompatible the M6500 dell?
Is my graphics card incompatible with Maya 2009?

Well, as you see, I'm at a loss. Any help would be great. I've reinstalled maya and tried many scenes. They all have the same problems. I've updated the drivers.

Any suggestions?

THank you to anyone for any help,
