As far as every ones knowledge what is the top temp for a amd phenom 2 x4 955 black edition , And what would be going over board for a over clocking speed. i can get it up to 4.211mhz . i got scared so i got it to 3,412mhz, my temp stays around 32c 40c when playing for a bit of time, never seen over 40c

When over clocking should i mix it up with overclocking the buss speed to with the multiplier .

or over clock it with just the multiplier

i do know when over clocking the bus speed it over clocks my memory as well. just looking for good over clocking tips ,

What the top temp is I can't say, but I do know that anything much over 55c and performance is impacted.

the best mix for overclocking/performance is FSB/Multi. the more you push your FSB the better performance you will get. Keep your RAM in even dividers, (1:2 or 1:4) odd dividers (1:1 or 1:3) really hurts the performance, even if the RAM is faster at 1:3.

4.2 is a great OC, but for day to day activities, I ran my 965 at 4.0.........
