I recently purchased a Sapphire 6970 (modded with Arctic Cooling fan) and a Panasonic VT25. Using TriDef Ignition software, I appear to achieving full 3D 1080P rates (please refer to the TriDef forum link http://www.ddd.com/forum/viewt...?f=16&t=804&start=10). However, I am being told that this impossible. Does anyone know if the 6970 reference design is capable of supporting the full 1080P rates for both eyes. I believe that the current HDMI 1.4 spec simply requires 720P compliance.

I posted this question in the System Specs forum more than one week ago, but I have not had a response yet.
