I use an Phenom 9600B Quad-Core 2.3ghz processor with 4 GB of Ram. I use stock CPU fans (nothing fancy)

Also use a Gtx 550 Ti Graphics card overclocked with a 750 W PS


Where do I begin because I want to overclock this to maybe a 2.6. I don't want to do anything to drastic.

If your motherboard supports AMD Overdrive, then try it out :

If it does not, here a guide, it is named for Athlon II, but principle is same, and you will find there links to more advanced Phenom guides.
