Introduction

DCT Tuner of Thaiphoon Burner utility is a modern tool for memory over-clocking of new generation AMD processors. DCT Tuner enables you to alter memory timings from within Windows for each of the two DRAM controllers (DCTs) of the AMD64 processor. DCT Tuner determines a current operating mode of DRAM Controllers - Unganged (two independent 64-bit controllers) and Ganged (one 128-bit controller) and sets timing delays in accordance with them. When Unganged mode is used DCT Tuner can synchronize memory timings of DCT1 (the second DRAM controller) with memory timings of DCT0 (the first DRAM Controller). Besides, you can set memory timings for each DCT independently when it is in Unganged mode. Additionally, DCT Tuner has the Log tab where you can observe the process of changing timings and identify those ones that freeze you PC system.

Supported AMD64 Processors

  • AMD Family 10h Processors (Socket AM2, Socket AM3, etc processors)
  • AMD Family 11h Processors (Socket S1g3 processors)

DCT Tuner does not restore memory timings every time you start Windows.
