aus-amdfan Deprecated Posts: 308 Joined: 01/21/2011	what revision of the board do you have as this may help in some way.also you may have to flash your bios its not as hard as 1 might think the first step is to format a usb stick to a fat 32 format you can do this by going to control panel then click on adminastor tools .then go to computer managment and a click on storage then go to disk managment .find the usb stick(its uaseally easier if ya name it first). then right click over and click on format then click on the file system and select fat or fat32 once youve done that then click on ok .once youve done all that find the board revision and manufactuer (cpu-z shoul tell what you need to know).go to there site and download the latest bios or the 1 with cpu core unlock should have it in the desception.once youve done that unzip the file to the usb stick youve formatted then restart pc.as soon as your pc makes that first beep press delete(or wat ever button that allows you to get in your bios) and go to to q-flash once in the q-flash program select update bios via usb or hdd then its as simple as selecting the file with your new bios and runnig it i hope this has been helpfull in any way ------------------------- amd fx-8120 powercolor 6970 @890mhz g-skill ripjaw x 1866mhz 16gig asus ch5 2x corsair force 3 ssds in raid (2 x 60g) 2 xwd 500g sata 3 hdds in raid 1.10
