Answer:
Very few people here own a Firepro card and even fewer people use it with Ubuntu I would imagine. If no one here knows the answer to a question no one can reply. We do monitor all the forum but that doesn't mean we answer all the questions. You may be better off asking your question at an Ubuntu forum.

It seems I cannot get any kind of reply in a 24 hour window from this Forum. Why is that? I am an AMD and ATI die-hard but it seems that posting here is like spitting into the wind! Do the moderators actually review all areas or should I post only in one area for results? You tell me so that I will know so I can get the help I need!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I understand what you are saying but it seems that I'm also talking hardware here. My new build will be AMD/ATI all the way don't ya know.
I think a lot of people are looking into Ubuntu, maybe not in the USA as much but in a global setting yes.
There are other using many other distro's of Linux too! Why else would AMD/ATI provide the drivers. Not everyone is going to W7; I'm not going to!

Oh, and the people using firePro cards most likely are at work and do not know they are using them!
