From the rules:

"10. This forum is here solely for express purpose of supporting current and future users of AMD Microprocessors. Posts advocating or suggesting the use of a competitor’s product are deemed inappropriate and we reserve the right to edit/delete such posts/threads at our discretion."

So if I were to tell someone a Pentium 4 computer might be better for video editing, that would be seen as bad behaviour?

Or is the rule suggesting that i don't solicit?

The intent of this rule is to prevent trolling Intel products exclusively. In the threads we have viewed so far, there has been intelligent discussion on why "x" product may be better than "y" product. This is well within the bounds of this forum so long as it stays away from pitching/trolling/spamming Intel product without merit.
