Hi can somebody tell me why it is that some forums, when you open a thread the text wraps to the size window you have opened, but others don't and you have to maximize the window to be able to read the whole post....????

It's really only a small thing, but if ti can work for some forums, but not others it's kind of annoying especially when you are trying to copy quotes etc from an earlier post in a different window.

It depends on the forum formatiing that depends on the default settings and the forum version.

It's almost always something that was posted in that thread (in one particular post) that causes the entire thread format to skew... post a link and maybe we can identify the culprit...

lol! yeah, I've seen that many times when I was using 1024x768 res with a 17" monitor... I bought a 19" lcd earlier this year, so 1280x1024 doesn't have the scaling problem... I guess more and more people are using 1280x1024 or greater now so larger pics in forums are becoming normal.. 2 years ago that wasn't the case, then if you posted anything larger than 640x480 you'd get slapped.. Now 800x600 and even 1024x768 is normal to see...

increase your res to 1280x1024 and the format skew will disappear...

96px X 761px wide... that would be 61 px too wide... but the rule about 100px X 700px is nowhere to be found... so I can't do anything about it...
