Hi All,

I recently purchased the ATI TV Wonder 600 USB for my Vista machine and it works/worked great, but I upgraded to Windows 7 and now my TV Wonder doesn't work.

Looking at ATI/AMD's website, I don't see drivers for this product. I've installed the Vista 64-bit drivers thinking they would be almost the same, but that didn't work either.

Anyone have any thoughts on how to get my TV Wonder working again?

How long we have to wait? Why this information is so secret?!?

Now the Windows 7 is officially released. There is no excuses for missing drivers for Theater 650/600 chipset tuners.

So what's the current status on getting the ATI 650 USB to run on Windows 7 64-bit?  Has ANYONE gotten it to work?  How?  This is driving me crazy.  Worked fine in Vista 64-bit.

I've tried a bunch of solutions in another tread, if someone got it working, please describe in detail how it's done.

Thanks!

Anyone have any thoughts? Seems as though this TV Tuner is useless if I have Windows 7.....

I installed windows 7. I got drivers for all PC components except for my ATI 650 USB.

I created a ticket in Diamond multimedia for an issue. Oh well. I bought Diamond ATI 650 usb. They closed the ticket without even looking at it.

I understand TV tuner is not hot(like ATI graphic cards) for AMD at this time. But, if AMD does not provide support why do they sell tv tuners in stores.

Customers will be definitely unhappy. AMD needs to treat all of their product customers in equal.

I just purchased mine, installed the Catalyst Media Center and it works flawlessly on my hp with factory installed windows 7.  No problems at all!

I had the same problem. I tried with the Vista 64-bit drivers from the ATI website, but they didn't work. Then, for ***** and giggles, I tried the CD that came with the product, and everything started working O.o. Hope that helps.

The TV Tuner is working inside the ATI software, but Windows Media Center isn't recognizing it as a tv tuner so it's not working.

I just checked the windows 7 action center and it said there was a  problem with the tuner, when I checked for a solution this is what it comes back with...

Address a problem with your TV tuner

Your TV tuner isn't compatible with this version of Windows.

ATI Technologies Inc doesn't plan to offer updates for your TV tuner to solve this problem.

To search for similar devices that are compatible, go online to the Windows 7 Compatibility Center:

Hrmmm...It works with windows 7 media center and the junk catalyst media center.

If you get black screen/ no channels...unplug the usb cable and plug it back...try powering on and off too...

I installed the software from cd, then latest vista 64 driver, windows update for driver, catalyst patch...

My pc has windows 7 64 professional....
