Ever since Catalyst 9.6/9.7 I havent been able to find the "desktop resize" option for my screen. At first, I thought it was related to my "old" HD3850, so I bought this Sapphire HD5850 - but problem persists.

At some point, the CCC changed its looks - and ever since, the desktop resize have been gone for me and a friend of mine.

System specs:

Core2Quad 9450

8GB DDR2-6400 (4x2)

Sapphire Radeon HD5850

Biboss 46" TV

Connection:   DVI > HDMI

Win7 x64

Friends specs:

Radeon HD3850

Samsung 37" flat TV

Connection:  DVI > HDMI

Win7 x64

the user interface of ccc takes getting used to, complicated by the ultra super fast refresh rate of the ccc window which they are addressing.

upper left corner, graphics -> drop-down menu to desktop properties.

All the scalling and TV overscan and custom HD settings are in - Graphics drop down menu - Desktop & Displays - Right Click small Monitor - Configure - then u have attributes/HDTV support/Overdrive etc

Thank you, Rik55.  Your suggestion was helpful. Wonder though why on earth they have hidden it so well - its retarded!
