Hi guys,

 

I recently invested in a 7970m for my Alienware m17x R3. I upgraded from a 6970m.

Using Catalyst drivers 12.6 12.7 and various modded drivers, i have been unable to get HDMI functionality working with this card. 

Upon contacting the supplier, they advised that this card does not support such function even though via various accounts on Notebook forums, it does.

 

Is there something im missing?

for some reason, when installing new Drivers, the ATI HDMI dirver is always missing.
