Good day to you,
When I have the latest version of WHQL Catalyst Drivers installed (12.8) I experience heavy fps decrease the longer the game goes on. Im playing on the following system:
I7 920 @ 2.6 ghz clock
6 GB DDR3 Ram
Sapphire HD 7970 OC at Bios 1 clocks (standard vendor bios)
700 W PSU

Temperatures are ok, never above 70°C

I play on maximum settings with 4xMSAA @ 1080p
The only solution is to roll back to 12.4 or as I did to 12.5 early beta and everything runs super smooth no matter how long I play.

Also, in Orcs Must Die 2 the screen keeps flashing white in the top right corner.
I think 12.8 is not very good to use with 79xx cards, maybe someone has problems like this, too.

is your 920 overclocked ?? if not it should be , bf3  love's hardware  , 6 gig system ram is  cutting it close

have you ever tried the june 26th  beta 12.7  driver  , they  were great for 7970's also

There is a nifty cpu overclock tool Intel offers for the first gen i processors. I use it to get a slight (safe) overclock...it does work well.

I don't need an overclocked cpu, all I want is the same performance I get with pre 12.6 drivers (wich is good)

12.7 beta works ok, but not quite as good as 12.5b
