I am trying to install the latest graphic drivers for my Radeon X1650 but when trying to install the drivers windows pops up with a warning message saying:

 

"Continuing your installation of this software may impair or destabilize the correct operation of your system either immediately or in the future. Microsoft strongly recommends that you stop this installation now and contact the hardware vendor for software that has passed Windows Logo testing"

 

So what do I do? I don't want to mess-up my OS... Why would graphical drivers for my Radeon X1650 risk messing with the OS?

 

Anyone got any ideas?

 

Here is some system specs and information

 

Graphics Card: Sapphire Radeon X1650 series.

I do not own ATI Catalyst Control Center or do not have it installed.

Operating System: Windows XP Proffesional Service Pack 3 - 32 bit

Because the X1650 is as ancient as Windows XP. You do not in any stretch of the imagination need to update the drivers for the X1650.
