I am having some major issues with this card the setup needs to run 3 monitors so looked through and found it needed a mini-dp to dvi active display cable.  I have bought two of these so far with no luck.

Configuration 1: Mini-DP, HDMI, DVI

This is the best the computer will get all 3 screens turn on however every minute or two monitor 3 (DVI) will act as if i unplugged it from the card and this will force all 3 screens to refresh then it will act as if i plugged it back into the card and suddenly be ok.  For obvious reasons have black screens every minute or two simply will not work.

Configuration 2: Mini-DP, Mini-DP, HDMI

Same problem but now it is happening every 5-10 seconds.  Clearly this will not work.

I have unplugged all monitors except for 3 and it works just fine no flickering so I know it is not the monitor.  I have tried a single display on every single port and on every monitor it always works with 1 or even 2 monitors but not 3.

XFX Radeon HD 6950

Link the adapters you are useing.

you can buy Mini-DP to multiple display port adapter use that for your surround monitors and a single for your main display

False. Which is why i asked him to link his adapters.

He has to use Active displayport adapters.
