i just found out that i actually got a very low end graphics card the ATI Radeon HD 5450 now im ganna need a better one for playing the newest games so can anyone recomend to me a better but stil cheap graphics card and what it is i need to look out for when buying a new one. btw i use a 1080p tv to play games with so what ever i get will have to be able to play new games in 1080p thanks for the help

Your computer system will determine what graphics card you can use. Please post your computer particulars as requested in 'Please Read Before Posting' or just look at my posted specs. Then you will get all the advice you can stand.

desktop pc

windows 7 ultimate 32bit

motherboard: dell inc 0gm819

cpu:intel core 2 duo e4400

ram: ddr2 4gb split between 2x 1gb and a 2gb card

I would say take the hard drive and replace everything else

Sadly, with that computer, you are severly limited. Higher performance cards consume alot more power and benefit most when paired with a higher performance processor/motherboards. Depending on your circumstances, you might be best served by looking for a new/refurbished desktop from a reputable supplier (warranty reasons). Microcenter, Tiger Direct, Fry's etc.
