Dual Monitors w/2 HD 6990's - can I run crossfire on both monitors at the same time?

I would connect one monitor to the first 6990, and the second to the second 6990 ... could I then run one game in crossfire mode on monitor/card #1, and a second game in crossfire mode on monitor/card #2?
