I'm unable to receive TV sound from my TV in Windows 7 AMD HDMI output line. Although the jacks are plugged in to both TV and PC the display box indicates the line is disabled although I've enabled it. It does, however, show up in device manager. I also checked for an updated driver and replugged lines without success. The PC speakers do reproduce audio. Please advise

so... are you using hdmi video and  onboard audio to your tv? 

in this situation, rename the hdmi input to dvi or pc in your tv. if dont, try to use hdmi audio itself, o check if it works with vga cable + ps cable.
