Hello everyone. I got ASUS HD 7970 DC II. Max temp is around 83c. Is that a normal temp for ASUS HD 7970 DC II? Or overheating issue? And the fan speed i turning to manual. 40% for 40c and i make it until 100c / 100% fan speed.

I need to know that my card is get an overheating issue or not. Oh sorry for my broken in english. Cheers

100+c is the time to start worrying.

Try some cable managment or add a fan to move the air in the case.

Further to Ratsass post..

Seeing as your vidcard has fans on the top, if you don't already have one, look for a really good fan for the side panel which would blow cooler air right at the card. If no side panel opening then put a fan in all other available slots and as suggested get the cables out of the way of airflow.

If that's not enough then you'd benefit (as most of us do) with an automated fancontrol program like MSI Afterburner which adjusts fanspeed vs. gpu temp.  It will take some experimenting with the graph to balance noise with the 80c max temp you'd like.
