Hey all,
Purchased the HD 7950 3gig and installed it into a Gateway FX6860 (i7 2600 3.4GHz, 750w Power, 8g RAM) &without doing ANY research about prerequisites. My bad, but heres what I am finding and would love any advice before I return the product.
After seeing little or no performance improvement in framerates over the HD 6750 1g running the flight simulator Prepar3D 64bit version 1.4, I downloaded and ran CPU-Z to get some specifics.
I immediatly noticed that CPU-Z was only showing 1024 MBytes in memory size for the HD7950. I am using Catalyst Control Center which came with the card.
What am I missing here?
Thanks,
Michael
