Hi,
I upgraded my video card from EVGA 256-P2-N751-TR GeForce 8600 GT 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Support Video Card to ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series about 2 years ago.
The ATI Radeon was a referbashed and I had some problems with it the first year or so. I ended up switching between the old GeForce and the new ARI Radeon because of it.
Those problems have dissapeared about a year ago and I just recently removed the GeForce drivers thinking it would help with RAM use. The GeForce was still running using about 200MBs in the back ground. I figured it was a waste of my RAM.
But now that I removed these GeForce drivers I lost all my Arial graphics.
I tried updating my ATI Radeon drivers but the auto check says everything is up to date.
Can anyone give me some advice on what to do here?
Will a re-install work for the ATI Redeon drives or is thjere something else happening here?
I don't see why removing graphics drives for a completely diferent video card would effect the neew video card operations?
Anyone?
Thanks,
John
