I have a dell 3011 and an asus 24" 1080p display.  When running extended desktop I get about a 1 inch black bevel on the asus display.  I cannot seem to resolve this in the catalyst control center or in the windows resolution screen.  

I am running a fresh install of win 8 and believe its an issue were someone is trying to maintain the image density between monitors.  

Please help I will be adding another display to the array in a days time and really want to resolve this issue first as it makes the asus display a near total waste.

Issue solved.

Go into the control center>My Digital Flat Panels>Scaling Options>Select Monitor at top of page then adjust scan by sliding to over scan.
