hi folks,im new here so sorry if i dont write in correct sector but let me describe my problem:

i bought new pc and im bit confused now,i pay hd 7870 graphic card but pc informacion software says i have 7850 WHY???The graphic drivers dont shows if its 7870 or 7850 or possibly other,this is what it show :

From what I have been able to discover..with the little information available..it looks like a 7850 1gb. Thats using Device ID 6819  as a search. And its not much of a search > http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/6934184279

Yeah I'd say you have a 7850, although it seems a rare one probably sold only to OEMs.  That's most likely why it was difficult to find only by device ID.  Fortunately there's not much of a difference between the 7850 and 7870, and you won't be able to notice it anyway at a resolution of 1024x768.

thank you all for answers,i returned the graphic card they acknoledge that it wasnt real 7870(it was weaker then 7850 even)and gived me new graphic card,now everything seems fine.

here is the thing i noticed which possibly can help others:

Device ID 7850 = 6819

Device ID 7870 = 6818

Statistics
84130 users are registered to the AMD Support and Game forum.
There are currently 11 users logged in.
