I have a HD 6800 series video card and I am using HDMI to connect to a AMP with built in HDMI video switch capablities. I am just wondering why I can only get the stereo sound option and no codex at all. Is there no way to get 7.1 auto from this setup? I have a 7.1 sound card in the system but when connection HDMI it is rendered useless. Is there any auto drivers or such to make the card 7.1 audio capable?
