I woke my pc up from sleep state, as usual, and the blinking light on the case that is usually blinking when it's in sleep state was still blinking, like it wasn't all the way 'woken up'. Some regular lights that usually go on when it's awake went on but I could hear that the fans weren't totally spinning up. The monitor had not awoken either.

Then I noticed some red lights on on the video card, lights I believe are not usually on. So I'm thinking it's damaged or dead??

The pc had not been on and the temps were very low (in the 20s).

Since I cannot view anything on my pc, I'll give you the info I remember:

Radeon HD 4890

No overclocking

I believe I have the latest drivers

Windows Vista 64 bit, I think SP2 (whatever is most recent)

MB is Asus Crosshair 3 Formula AM3 790FX

Power: Thermaltake TR2 rx850 (http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/Product.aspx?C=1264&ID=1830)

Viewsonic monitor (P810)

CPU: AMD Phenom 2 x4 955 3.2 GHz

4 DDR3 RAM

Do a search on here, there is a thread which tells what the diagnostic LEDs on the 4800 series mean. It's either power or temperature related, and since it happened from waking up from sleep, it's power related, as in insufficient power.

I did find on another site what they mean. But I don't know which light is for which error.

The LED's on the card are labeled, and should be in left to right order.

I looked at the board and, tho the writing is TINY, I think I made it out to be 1) Crit Temp Fault 2) Aux Hot plug/unplug fault (upper) 3) Same but (lower). So does all 3 together mean something else? B/c them temp is fine, everything is plugged in.

I tried calling 2 stores and they can test it but it costs a lot. Is there anything else I can do?

You mean in 4 days you still haven't sent a simple email to whoever made your card 4 years ago?

BTW, thanks for suggesting that 4 days ago. And you can cut the dick-ish behavior. The bulder said on their site that the warrantly is up in a year and its been 3 years. They refer you to the manufacturer of the card, which I went to, and, just like here, they offer no help. I cannot find an answer on AMD's support either, god for f***ing bid.

Just admit you can't help me and don't take it out on me w/juvenile posts, trying to make me look like an ass. Very mature. If you're going to give me a GD attitude, then don't bother me. I'm wating patiently for help here, where it was suggested I go, after talking to a couple friends and stores and not getting anywhere, while my dad acts like an ass as I'm hogging his computer trying to get help, from asswipes apprently.
