I have a HD5400 grafic card and will work with two monitors.

One monitor i have connected on VGA and one monitor i have connected with a DVI to VGA adapter. But only this monitor works who is connected directly on VGA. In the Catalyst Controll center it shows only one monitor.

Windows 7 64 bit.

It is possible that the DVI output is DVI-D (digital) and cannot be converted to VGA (analog). If that is the case, check if one your monitors has a DVI input and connect using that and if they dont, you would need an ACTIVE converter.

This was the solution. Direct contact DVI Kabel from graficcard to monitor and it works
