 I just got my self MSI 7970 Lightning but it looks like the card is defective im getting this http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/267/20121205032032.jpg/ once a day on my main monitor i tryed several driver versions, swiching to diferent monitors etc. but nothing works it still get this "crash" my rig is still runing and secondary monitor is working fine but to fix this i have to restart my computer. Does anyone have any ideas besides returning the card.

Is the fan controll sets the speed itself or always stays at low RPM? I had this when my fan speed was always at 15%

fan speeds up automaticly and according CCC temp never goes higher that 59 C
