I want to make sure the W7000 is fully compliant with the PCI-E 3.0 bus with the Sandy Bridge E i7 3830k chip and the X79 chipset before I purchase one. I love the specs on the card and I just want to make sure I get full compatability to take advantage of all the technology.

I will be purchasing a new chip and mother board so I could go with the Ivy Bridge i7 3770k if that is supported better.

It's no S10000, but there shouldn't be any problems, PCIe 3.0 is a universal standard.
