I recently joined the ranks of Radeon fans with an HD7850 which has been wonderfull.  No problems and great performance in actual games.

I'm curious though why I get lower than expected fps in the Unigen Heaven benchmark, as well as stuttering and some odd artifacts.

At 1920x1200, 4xAF, 4xAA, Normal Tesselation (all other settings default), I'm barely scrapping out 30fps nominal, absolute high of 45, and even then its not smooth (hitches ever few seconds).   More disconcerting though is the intermittent "flash" in the background.

For perspective I tried running the same settings on a vertually identical machine with a 660 from the others guys which posted fps just shy of 100 with no glitches.

Again, no problems with actual games.  I'm just curious if the the Unigen Heaven benchmark is skewed twords the other guys or what.

It's a benchmark, not a game, don't pay attention to it.
