i have been using my radeon HD 5450 for approximately 4months or more

its been working great, but as of 22/12/12 when i had to unplug all devices connected to my computer to paint, i placed the tower untouched on my bed, when i reconnected the tower, the card stopped working, when i plug the monitor cord into the onboard it works, when i plug into the g.card it shows no signal

There's a REALLY high probablility that your vidcard came loose or it's power connector(s) came off.

Unscrew, pull it out, remember to watch for little catch-lock at the end of the pcie slot, and snap it back into place, screw it down.

Unplug power connector, and push it back in. Try it before putting the side back on. (bad luck )

what i tried so far

disabling on board card

taking it out and cleaning it

cleaning entire MOBO

the card didnt come with a power cable btw

i re inserted it several times

re installed drivers

updated BIOS

checked compatibility

exchanged VGA cables

tried teh DVI port by using the adapter

none of these works

idk what i did but its working agian, thanks for help anyway^^

I have same problem and it was working for few hours after installing then it's stopped to work! don't know why

Any help ?
