Seriously, you don't screw around with a VBIOS unless you know what you are doing, and there are very few cases which require the VBIOS to be updated, and in those cases, they are provided directly by the manufacturer for your exact SKU.

I have a problem with this video card. When playing games or watching video fails: black screen or white or black and white vertical stripes. I updated the BIOS of the motherboard, put the latest version of Catalyst.

my configuration: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4 Ghz, ASUS P8Z77-V LX, Hynix DDR3 PC3-12800 4GB *2, Sapphire HD 7850 2GB GDDR5 (11200-07), Chieftec A-80 CTG-600-80P, Win 7 x64

 

 

 

 

Same problem here :-(

My card is a Radeon HD 7850, 2GB DDR5 and it has been working fine since Xmas day but today it keeps doing this in the middle of gaming. Anyone any ideas what the cause may be?

I have ASUS P7P5DD mobo, Intel Core i5 CPU, Windows7 x64, 4GB DRAM, 64GB Samsung SSD and 500GB SATA HDD and OCZ 500W PSU.

That's not a VBIOS issue, sounds more like either overheating or a power supply not able to provide sufficient amperage at 12.00v, or a failing RAM module.

Well, I though that may be the problem too but it has been working fine for 4 days, anyway, I swapped my 500W PSU for a 650W PSU and still have the same behaviour :-(

The problem is not in the power supply. 600 watts is enough for this configuration. Overheating is not a problem, because this problem occurs when watching movies.

If, however, the fact is that you write, that's how to check it. Or could something else to do. I updated the BIOS to the latest version on the motherboard, is Catalyst 12.11 beta, clear CMOS.
I would refer to the service center, but by January 8 is not working.
